The Wii utilizes the Weather Channel in gameplay

Look at the Weather Channel! Now switch your regoin to a snowy region or rainy region.

Now go play Madden & look at the weather...it WILL BE THE SAME AS WHAT THE WEATHER CHANNEL IS!!!

Another Wii Gamer figured out that the background stars shown in the globe view of the new Wii Forecast Channel are not just random--they are the accurate positions of real stars, with the proper relative magnitude and color. See screenshots here

I wonder what other types of integration the Wii games will have with real world events, data, and stats.
