Wii Laptop Mod - Portable Wii Console
Engadget has posted pics of a beautiful Wii Mod by Ben Heckendom. This is by far the coolest Wii mod yet!
This fellow, converted his Wii into a laptop. Now his wii is portable and he can take it on the go.
You can watch a video of this thing in action here
Ben says he will be releasing tutorials on how you can build your own Wii Laptop soon.
are you drunk? how in the hell are you complaining?? if this is real, this is some amazing craftsmanship. it is a "laptop" personal device....4 people aren't going to be huddled around this thing playing splitscreen games.... ...think before you speak, darrell.
uh, mike, if you noticed, there are A/V jacks. that means it can be hooked up to a larger TV.. that's where there 'would' be more people playing at once.
I don't think this guy spent all this time to transform (one of) his Wii(s) into a portable system just to plug it right back into his TV. Sure, he gave it the capability...but, in the end, that renders all of his efforts pointless. It is a Wii Laptop...not a space station.
lol we're all morons? sorry mike. i think you're the one missing the point. it means portability. laptops do have the capability for video out, and people use that capability all the time. go back to school lil boy. The guy's comment about more gamecube controllers made sense. You're juse a bit on the clueless side. gg
you guys are forgeting one. thing.. if someone hooks it up to a tv.. there still no sensor bar.. i mean i love the concept but still. extra sensor bar needed if planned to hook up to a tv

ReplyDeleteAhh if you look on the side of the monitor he has a port to attach the original sensor bar
ReplyDeleteThat looks photoshoped, or whatever. It doesn't have the texture of a real object.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be quite difficult to photoshop a video.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I posted this before finding out it has a vid. But it is possible. I watched a youtube spoof where luigi throws baby yoshi into a block. =P
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if it is possible to connect my wii to my laptop, so i can use its screen?
