Sure, that's cool.
If you want to do your own head tracking / VR application using the Wiimote, you might also find this open hardware project interesting.
It can be used for monoscopic VR (changed perspective) but also brings true stereoscopic viewing to any LCD (with a growing list of supporting programs).
